No you haven't gone color blind XD This is a flash back opening.
In case you didn't figure it out yet, it happened a few years ago when the Ripper was finally captured by the authorities and shortly before he was brought to Willow Hill.

Also... don't you just hate it when you bother to design a small building and just end up having to put a huge ass speech bubble on it ? Damn you News guy ! DX

I'm going to be the bitchy grammar police woman and point out that your pronoun should be "it", not "them" in the fourth panel. If your object is "evidence", that's singular, not plural.

Just throwing that in there, in case you publish these or something.

Not . . . exactly. In English, the word "evidence" itself is a collective singular, as in the phrase "body of evidence". Now, if you were to insert "pieces of" before it, you'd use a plural, because the object becomes plural (pieces of evidence).

I've heard English is the worst language for breaking its own rules. I think perhaps we just got lazy when developing it and said, "We don't need so many stinkin' variations; just say this instance is a rule-breaker!"

And on that note, I have revealed my secret geekery associated with my native tongue. I can't help it. I seem hard-wired for English--proper grammar and all. I took three years of French and failed pretty badly. Sometimes I can infer the meaning of a French word from a familiar or common root, and I read French better than I speak or write it, but all and all, I'm hopeless.

I wish I could master French, but English, she is a jealous bitch.
