I'm creating a cartoon. It's called, Forgotten Tales! It's about these forgotten and obscure characters that no one remembers from media going on wacky and crazy adventures.
Any idea what happened to Mel? She seems long inactive. I kind of miss her Silent Hill comics.
You on the other hand have become incredibly busy. You could make living draving comics ... if you don't already.
Your Black Smith kind of reminds me of Monkey Island series. Any inspiration from there?
Mel? Oh she's plenty busy too. She rebranded a few times, so it's kinda of hard to keep track of her sometimes, but if you look up "Your Boyfriend" (Erotic Horror Visual Novel), you'll see she's alive and kicking. That being said, I do miss her previous projects too.
As for me, I am indeed making a living off of my Webtoons (thank god, because it really does take all of my time). And yes, BlackSmith was heavily inspired by the Monkey Island series, as well as the Pagemaster, Hook, Treasure Island (1950), Cutthroat Island, POTC... I just couldn't get enough of pirates growing up ^_^'
Ever seen Murder Drones? I know they're made by Glitch, but definitely look like something Mel would participate on. There's plenty of gore, ax-craziness and the shape of the drones' faces is actually very similar to how Mel used to draw characters back in those days.
